Established in 2005, Qingdao Vland Biotech Inc. is now an international group with more than 1,500 employees worldwide. As a high-tech biological enterprise, Vland has been focusing on three main businesses including enzymes, probiotics and animal health care products. We now have 35 subsidiary companies, 12 production bases, 8 R&D platforms and 2 top nation-level labs. In 2019, Qingdao Vland Biotech Inc. was listed on SSE A-Shares (Stock Code 603739).

Vland stays committed to providing core technology support for biological manufacturing, green solutions for food safety and also clean energy-saving technology for traditional industries including agriculture and husbandry, textile, paper making, detergent, food, biofuel, environmental protection, etc. With the philosophy of technological innovation driving development in mind, Vland has been developing new products and technologies of independent intellectual property rights, striving to make itself a world leading high-tech biological enterprise. Currently, Vland’s research team consists of 34 Ph.Ds and more than 300 high-level talents including returnees from world-renowned enzyme companies.

Vland attaches great importance to international technology cooperation. We have established cooperative relationship with well-known biological research institutes and enterprises in more than 60 countries or regions such as the United States, Europe, Russia and Japan. In 2014, JBS-Vland Life Sciences, LLC. was set up in the United States for a globalized R&D network. In 2015, Vland and Evonik started to cooperate in the R&D and manufacture of probiotics. In 2017, Vland-ADM Joint Enzyme R&D Center was built in California, US. In 2018, Vland Biotechnology Ho Chi Minh Company Limited was established in Vietnam. In 2021, the probiotic product for aquaculture co-developed by Vland and Evonik was launched first in China. In 2022, ADM-Vland Biotech (Shandong) Co., Ltd. was established. By cooperating with world’s prestigious universities, institutions and companies, Vland has been maximizing its R&D capabilities and expanding the scope of its biotechnological research.
